2842544 - Data Services receiving ASE errors: DBO.MYTABLE2 not found. - SAP ASE / EIM-DS-DES

Symptom

Data Services is unable to connect to the ASE table and is getting disconnected with the following messages:

  • delete from DBO.MYTABLE where ROW_NUM in (select distinct ROW_NUM from DBO.MYTABLE2) > failed, due to error <70602>:
    error message for operation <ct_results>: <Sybase Server message number <208> State <1> Severity<16> From Server <MYSERVER>:
    Message Text is: DBO.MYTABLE not found. Specify owner.objectname or use sp_help to check whether the object exists (sp_help may produce lots of output).

    DBO.MYTABLE2 not found. Specify owner.objectname or use sp_help to check whether the object exists (sp_help may produce lots of output).

  • The final message is a disconnect:
    Sybase connection error: <CT_CMD_DROP failed>.
