Symptom

  • Error DPFramework AgentPool.cpp(01781) : exception 300015: SSL certificate validation failed: SSL error.Failed to verify peer certificate. Expired or not yet valid.
  • Failed to connect to agent, exception 300013: SSL handshake failed: SSL error, General error: 0x20001042 | SAPCRYPTOLIB | SSL_connect, SSL API error, received a fatal TLS bad certificate alert message from the peer | SSL | ssl3_connect
  • SDI DPAgent registration to SAP HANA on Premise with TCP/SSL
  • The SSL setup process listed in this KBA is only for TCP connection, connection through JDBC use "jdbc.encrypt=true" in dpagentconfig.ini file to enable SSL connection.
