2842609 - Deprecated Data Source can be used in ODP and OData Scenarios

You want to expose the data source Account Responsibility Data (technical ID BPCSRSPB) and therefore you need to expose the referenced data sources. When you are looking for the referenced data sources you realised that some of them are shown the addition deprecated and cannot be exposed.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics and the view Design Data Sources.
2. Show All and search for data source Account Responsibility Data (technical ID BPCSRSPB).
3. Select the data source, go to the details and the tab Referenced Data Sources.
4. You will see two deprecated data sources: Account Master Data (ID CUSTOMER) and Employee Master Data (ID HCMEMPB).
5. When you now search with the technical ID HCMEMPB you will only find the not deprecated data source Employee Master Data with the ID CODHCMEMPB.

This is the expected behaviour and deprecated data sources are not shown.

The deprecated data source can be found. Please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics and the view Design Data Sources.
2. Open the Advances Search and tick the box for Show Obsolete.
3. Enter the data source name Employee Master Data (deprecated) or ID HCMEMPB and start the search.
4. The data source can be exposed now.
