2843128 - "Error performing country specific validation" when trying to import Job History - Employee Central

When trying to import an employee Job History the following appears when Importing or Validating:

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental." 

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Employee Data Import

1. Go to Import Employee Data
2. Select Job History data import
3. Choose your file
4. Validate or Import

Result: [Error performing country specific validation. Make sure that this record is associated with a valid Company/Legal Entity record for given dates.]

The company field is not a valid value, below two possible causes:

1. The Company/Legal Entity been passed on the import file has the effective start date after the employee record been imported.
2.  Company/Legal Entity name has been passed on the import file instead of the Company code.

• If the  Company/Legal Entity effective start date is after employee job information start date record you have two options:

1. Correct the  Company/Legal Entity object to be effective before the job information start date record:
   
   1. Go to Manage Data
   2. Filter for Company/Legal Entity
   2. Make Correction 
   4. Adjust the Company/Legal Entity effective Start Date to be before the Job Information start date record.
   
   
2. Correct the Job Informaiton start date:
   
   1. Go to your Job History import file
   2. Adjust the Start Date to be before the Company/Legal Entity effective Start Date

• If the Company/Legal Entity name has been passed you need then to change it to the Company/Legal Entity code:
  
  1. Go to your Job History import file
  2. Check if you are passing the  Company/Legal Entity name in Company field
  3. If yes, you need to adjust to  Company/Legal Entity code (which is you will be able to double check on Manage Data ->  Company/Legal Entity)

Error performing country specific validation. Make sure that this record is associated with a valid Company record for the dates indicated, job history import , error importing, job information import, import error , KBA , LOD-SF-EC-EDP , Import Employee Data (EC Core only) , LOD-SF-EC-JOB , Job Information , Problem
