2844008 - How to Connect to Azure DB as a Datastore - SAP Data Services 4.2

Symptom

  • Unable to connect to Azure at the datastore configuration. But able to connect to it using the Micrsoft SQL Client (SSMS) or DSN.
  • ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <XXXXXX> failed with error: ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <XXXXXX> failed.
  • ODBC call for data source failed: An unknown error has occurred. Invalid connection string attribute.
  • Login failed for user <user_name>. Reason: Azure Active Directory only authentication is enabled.
