Symptom

  • Downloaded a new license and getting syntax errors in the ASE log:
    SySAM: Invalid license file syntax.
    SySAM: FLEXnet Licensing error:-2,397
     
  • License file shows both:

    ...
    VENDOR_STRING=PE=EE;LT=CP;AP=IQ HOSTID=
    ...
    VENDOR_STRING=PE=RL;LT=CP HOSTID=...
