2845104 - Clicks Do Not Work on Image Carousel and Image and Text Carousel - Recruiting Marketing

Symptom

  • When I try to click on a image from the Image Carousel in Chrome browser the correspondent category page doesn't open.
  • When I click on links in the Image and Text Carousel, they do not open.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing (RMK)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to RMK site;
  2. Click on an image from the image carousel to open a category page or click on the link within the text in the Image and Text Carousel.
  3. It'll be necessary to click twice when using the Chrome browser. The first click is to select the image carousel component if it's not selected and the second one is to open the category page. The link in the Image and Text Carousel does not open.

Cause

Unpredictable behavior for legacy image carousel components in some browsers.

Resolution

Product Management team recommends that customers use the new Image Carousel component in Career Site Builder (CSB) to avoid any unpredictable behaviors. Also, Image and Text Carousel (Legacy) component should be replaced by Image and Text Carousel component.
