2845127 - Status changes when rejecting a contract created by referencing another contract

Symptom

After a follow-up contract is fully referencing the target quantity of another contract, the preceding contract's overall status becomes Completed. In case the new contract is rejected (reason for rejection set on item), the status of the preceding contract is changed back from completed to In Process.
