2845451 - ERROR: Please choose a global holiday calendar or one whose country matches the country for the selected company

You are trying to update the job information of one employee and you are getting one or all of the below errors:

• Please choose a global holiday calendar or one whose country matches the country for the selected company;
• Please assign a work schedule so that all the Time Off fields have an entry;
• Please choose a global time profile or one whose country matches the country for the selected company.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) - Time Off

1. Go to any Employee;
2. Make a change in Job Information;
3. Try to save and you'll get one or all of the errors above

There are two possible causes for this:

1. You do not have Time Off Enabled in your system but you do have data either for holiday-calendar-code, workschedule-code or time-type-profile-code;
2. You have Time Off Enabled but the fields holiday-calendar-code, workschedule-code or time-type-profile-code are not enabled in Manage Business Configuration > jobInfo;

To solve the issue, please go through the steps below:

1. First you need to find out if you have Time Off Enabled:
1. Go to Manage Employee Central Settings;
2. Check if the option "Time Off" is checked (Note: If Time Off For Leave Of Absence Only is also enabled, then this might be a different situation so for this create a ticket to SAP support);
3. Now go over the related steps below;

• Time Off is enabled;

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration;
2. Go to jobInfo session;
3. Make sure that holiday-calendar-code, workschedule-code or time-type-profile-code are enabled;
4. If the above checks are correct, Check the Company / Legal Entity of the employee and Country of Registration are maintained in the instance / Manage Data with correct effective date.

• Time Off is not enabled;

1. Create an adhoc report with the domain Person And Employment Export;
2. In the Employee Job Info session, select the fields holiday-calendar-code, workschedule-code or time-type-profile-code;
3. If you do not have Time Off Enabled, those fields must be empty;
4. If the fields are not empty, you need to temporarily activate those fields in Manage Business Configuration > jobInfo;
5. After that, delete the values for this field;
