2845886 - Photos / pictures not visible on Org-Chart and on People Profile

Symptom

Photos are being displayed on Org-Chart and People Profile for a group or all users, as example below:

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

 SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to either Org-Chart or People Profile;
  2. Instead of the user photo it will be shown the below image: 

Cause

Lack of permission Employee Data -> Photo (View) for the user over the user that they are accessing as it is a permission that consider target population.

Resolution

You need to provide the permission Employee Data -> Photo (View) (screenshot below) through RBP Groups and Roles.

You need to assure that the permission is provided for the users on permission roles that have the target population that they are suppose to see the pictures.
