It is possible to add the Comments portlet to the Candidate Profile. To do that, you need to add the Standard Field comments to the candidate profile template.

To do that, you have two options:

• Contact your partner to update the information in the XML template, and upload it back to Provisioning;
• Or, add the new field to the template and provide the proper permissions via Manage Templates feature. The instructions can be found in this KBA: 2847135 - How to add a new Field in a Template via Manage Templates - Recruiting Management.

Once you add the fieldId="comments" to the template, the portlet Comments will become visible to recruiting users. Even if you don't define any permissions to this field, it won't be available to candidates and it will be visible for Recruiting users. However, it is strongly recommended to provide the permissions using Dynamic Groups.
