2846192 - Exporting configuration between RMK instances - Recruiting Marketing

This article provides information on how to move RMK configuration from one instance to another.
Note there is no such thing as an instance Refresh in RMK. It is possible to manually copy the configuration. Data however, cannot be moved accross as it can in the case of a BizX instance Refresh. This is why this process is not considered a refresh.

Instance refreshes allow us to move (copy and paste) data across instances. This is available for BizX instances, but is not available for RMK instances.
It is possible to manually copy the configuration from one RMK instance to another but as data (jobs, users...) is not included, this is not a refresh.

Configuration should be done manually in the target bizx instance.

Also note that any refresh done on Bizx Companies will have no effect on the integrated RMK instance itself. However, if the RMK Integration settings in Provisioning are not restored correctly, this will have dire effects on the RCM/RMK integration and the posting of jobs to RMK.

As to the RMK configuration export, it is split into 3 sections:

• Category Pages Export/Import: Category Pages can be exported from one environment and imported into another. This action is performed in CSB > Tools > Import/Export. Support is not allowed to perform Category Page exports on behalf of clients. • Career Site Builder Export/Import: Among other functionalities, CSB controls the RMK website look and feel. CSB configuration can be exported into a file to be later imported into another environment. Support is not allowed to perform CSB exports/imports on behalf of clients. • Site Setting Export/Import: Site Settings configuration can be exported to a file in CSB to be later imported into another environment also in CSB. Support is not allowed to perform Site Settings Exports/Imports on behalf of clients.
