2846562 - Unable to see a material in Maintain PIRs app

When searching for a material in Maintain PIRs app, the material is not displayed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Maintain PIRs app
2. Search for the material
3. The material is not displayed

No strategy group is maintained in the MRP 3 view of the material master for the affected material.

When attempting to create PIRs for the material using the Create PIRs app, the system displays the following error message:

• No requirement type exists for material - in plant -
  Message no. 6P492
  This cause of this could be:
  No strategy group has been maintained in the material master record.

As indicated by the error message, a valid strategy group must be maintained in the MRP 3 view of the material master. After maintaining the strategy group, the material will become available in the Maintain PIRs app.
