Symptom
In the time sheet in EC Time, times are created in hours and minutes. The evaluated data is then replicated to EC Payroll and stored in infotype 2010. However, the data in infotype 2010 is stored as a fraction of hours with two decimals. As a result, rounding issues can occur. For example, an employee may have the following overtime / negative time within one week.
Day 1 - The employee has 10 minutes overtime
Day 2 - The employee has 25 minutes overtime
Day 3 - The employee has 35 minutes negative time
As a result, within that week the employee has zero minutes overtime. However, in EC Payroll the following data is stored in infotype 2010.
Day 1 - 0,17 hours
Day 2 - 0,42 hours
Day 3 - -0,58 hours
As a result, payroll calculates that the employee worked 0,01 hours overtime in that week.
