2846599 - Unable to register existing Agent to HANA on Cloud - SAP HANA Smart Data Integration

Symptom

Trying to "register" your DP Agent on the Configuration tool to HANA on Cloud after a re-install/upgrade results in the following error:

  • Agent <Agent_Name> registration failed.
  • Context: Request failed for CREATE_AGENT
  • Context: Agent name <Agent_Name> already registered on the server. Cannot use duplicate name

The Agent has been previously registered to HANA on Cloud.
