2847599 - Report Chart Shows Percentages Instead of Absolute Values

Symptom

You have created a report view which uses the chart of type Pie, Doughnut or Funnel. While the table shows absolute numbers, the chart shows these numbers as percentages.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the work center Business Analytics and the view Design Reports.
  2. Open your report with the respective view.
  3. See that the table shows absolute values.
  4. Change the view to the Pie, Doughnut or Funnel chart.

Instead of the values, you will see percentages.

Cause

This is the current product design.

Resolution

The Pie, Doughnut and Funnel chart always show the values as a percentage of the sum of all values. You can make use of a different chart type to see absolute values.

If you would like to suggest changes to the standard behavior, please make use of the Continuous Influence Session.
