2847642 - Error when applying for leave - Comments field in object exceeds its max length of 256 characters

We are unable to apply for leave and receive the error: "Time account changes cannot be saved: Comment field in object ABC exceeds its max length of 256 characters."   This is shown even though the comment field is left blank.

As part of TimeAccount GOT2BE migration, comment field length has been fixed to 256 characters and system will not accept characters beyond 256 characters.

Customer can shorten the content of comment field by following these steps,

1. Login with user that has admin center permissions
2. Go to Manage Data
3. Search for “Time Account”
4. Pick an EXTERNAL_CODE for TimeAccount with comment exceeding 256
5. After accessing the TimeAccount, check the Time Account Details by clicking on “Details”. If more than one Time Account Details are present you can find the relevant by using the  EXTERNAL_CODE of TimeAccountDetail from the extracted report (ROW_ID of TimeAccount is EQUAL to PARENT_ROW_ID of TimeAccountDetail)
6. Once relevant Time Account Detail found “Take Action” à Make Correction
7. Shorten the content of comment to 256 characters max
8. Save
