2848197 - Duplicate Approval Steps When Using "Add Modifier" on Job Requisition Route Map - Recruiting Management

When adding an approver using “Add Modifier”, the approval steps are duplicated in the workflow. As a result, the same approver is required to approve the Job Requisition multiple times.

1. Go to Recruiting and access the affected pre-approved Job Requisition.

2. Open the Route Map at the top of the requisition.

3. Click Actions and select Add Modifier.

4. Search for the user(s), select them, and click Add Selected.

5. On the next page, click Save Changes.

6. When the confirmation pop-up appears, click OK.

7. Before the page finishes loading, click Save Changes again and confirm by clicking OK on the pop-up.

This issue occurs because the user clicks “Save Changes” on the Add Modifier page multiple times before the initial request has fully completed and been saved by the system. As a result, the same modifier action is processed more than once, leading to duplicated approval steps in the route map.

This behavior is considered expected due to a current product limitation.

To avoid this issue, ensure that “Save Changes” is selected only once and allow the page to fully process and reload before performing any further actions.
