2848306 - User with secondary employment doesn't receive email notifications

Symptom

 Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental

User has a secondary (concurrent) employment. This employment is a manager position.

The user doesn't receive any email notifications for his direct reports on the secondary employment

Reproducing the Issue

User is on secondary employment and is a manger in both employments for different direct reports

Cause

By default only the main employment only will receive email notifications.

Resolution

 Download the user directory and filter by Last Name. 2 rows will be shown. Usually the username -1 is the secondary employment

To change the setting go to admin center - Change Email Notification Setting. Search by Last Name only.

Tick the box for the secondary employment.

If the requirement is to send notifications to the main employment only, tick one box only.

If the secondary employment has been set to be the main employement and this employment only should receive emails, then you have to change the setting
