2848466 - No Position Found Error in the Position Org Chart

Receving the following error when select any position from the position org chart.

"Sorry, no position found. Please select a position or a person assigned to a position"

Employee Central - Position Management

1. Navigate to the Position Org Chart
2. Search for a position
3. Error appears on screen

There might be multiple reason for the given issue.

1. This occurrs because the position in question did not exist on that specific date.
1. This can be confirmed by doing the following
• Manage Positions > Choose position
• Analyze the first record
• Check if the date is after the date you're trying to use in the Positon Org Chart
2. Please check provisioning setting "Limit Org chart access to succession org chart"
1. To Resolve this issue, Please disable this feature. If as a customer you do not have access to provisioning, please reach out to your partner or raise an case with support under LOD-SF-EC-PRV component. 
3. Role based Permission Issue
1. Besides assigning access to position org chart in Role-based Permissions. We need to apply view permission on the Position Object under Miscellaneous permission too.

2. Please make sure target criteria has been maintained for position object as well in Permission assignment group. 
4. Either Position or child position has 2 record with end date 31/12/9999 or an invalid end date. Please create advance position report or enable the effective end date on the position object (Configure Object Definitions -> Position) and check the same
