Can the Reference field value updated when posting jobs in Recruiting Posting?

The reference field value is populated in Recruiting Posting once you post a job to job boards. The standard mapping is with the job req. ID. If you want to map it with another RCM field, you can update the rule in Manage Recruiting Posting > Field Completion.

The prepoluated value can be edited when posting a new job but cannot be modified afterwards (you will need to unpost and repost the job if the reference needs to be updated).

The reference field in Recruiting Posting is limited to 50 characters. It can be even less based on job boards' constraints.
