2848709 - How to create PSE for HTTPS usage of SLDREG

Symptom

  • HTTPS is used for sldreg registration.
  • Error occurred when sldreg sending data to SLD using HTTPS. In sld log, there is the connection error like below.

    <Timestamp> Used URL: https://<SLDhostname>:<SLDHTTPSport>/sld/ds
    <Timestamp> Proxy is not configured.
    <Timestamp> HTTP open status: false - NI RC=0
    <Timestamp> Failed to open HTTP connection!
    Make sure HTTP tracing is active (-logfile <filename> and '-httptrace' on cmd line or 'sldreg/httptrace = 1' in profile) and check sldreg_http_trace.log.
    <Timestamp> Data send status: false

  • After enable the HTTP tracing following the instruction above, and the following error can be found in the generated HTTP trace(sldreg_http_trace.log).

    *** ERROR => secussl_Create_SSL_CTX(): PSE "/<SECUDIRpath>/<PSEfilename.pse>": File not found! [ssslsecu.c 2910]
    secussl_Create_SSL_CTX: SSL_CTX_set_default_pse_by_name() failed (4129/0x00001021)
    => "The PSE file does not exist."
