2849088 - Apps "Project Planning" and "WBS Element" cannot be added to the launchpad

Users cannot add the apps "Project Planning" and "WBS Element" to their Fiori launchpad, despite having the relevant business role SAP_BR_PROJ_FIN_CONTROLLER.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

A user is assigned the business role SAP_BR_PROJ_FIN_CONTROLLER (or a copy of this business role which has the same business catalogs).

The user cannot find the apps Project Planning" and "WBS Element" in the "App Finder" in the system frontend.

Both apps cannot be accessed directly, they can only be accessed via navigation from another app.

This system behavior is correct. As mentioned in documentation for these apps in the Online Help, it is intended for users to access these apps by navigating from another app:

Project Planning
"You can open the Project Planning app for individual projects from the Project Control - Enterprise Projects app and the Project Briefs app "

WBS Element
"You can open the WBS Element app for individual WBS elements from the Project Planning app. "

This means that it is not possible (or necessary) to add these apps to the Fiori launchpad, and the apps are not found in the App Finder.
