2849272 - Failed to access to SCC agent through sybcluster - SAP ASE CE

Symptom

  • When performing a command to access to SCC agent in sybcluster utility, the following message 'Connection failure' happened.

    sybcluster -U uafadmin -P -F"<hostname>"
    > show agents
    Verifying the supplied agent specifications...
    INFO - Connection failure: Unable to connect to the agent using the URL:<hostname>:9999
    Cause: Authentication failed. Please check username and password.
  • When the issue happened, the following message would be logged in the agent.log.

    [RMI TCP Connection(27)-127.0.0.1] - Login failed from <hostname> Username: uafadmin
    [RMI TCP Connection(27)-127.0.0.1] - Authentication failed. Please check username and password.
