2849680 - Unable to see All Permission Options for MDF Objects in RBP

• After making some custom MDF object secured, there are not all the options to grant permissions in Manage Permission Roles > Miscellaneous Permissions, only View, Edit and Import/Export are available to configure.
• No View Current, View History, Insert, Correct, Delete permission options under Manage Permission Roles > Miscellaneous Permissions.

• Metadata Framework (MDF) 

1. Create a custom MDF object in Configure Object Definition;
2. Configure the object to be Secured = Yes;
3. Go to Manage Permission Roles to grant the permissions for Miscellaneous Permissions; 
4. See only View, Edit and Import/Export options.
   
   

The options available under Manage Permission Roles > Miscellaneous Permissions > *MDF Object* depend on the effective date set for the MDF object.

If the effective date is set to None, only these 3 options will be available: View, Edit and Import/Export.

In case you need to control the other permission options, the effective date of the MDF object cannot be set as None.

Depending on the Effective Dating of the object, the Permissions Available will be different. You can check all the Permissions Available for each type of Effective Date by accessing SAP Help Portal -> Setting Up Security Objects.
