Resolution

If you are facing any issues or have any queries during the implementation of WFA on HANA or post implementation configuration issues it is required to engage a technical consulting through the HCM Partner Delivery Group (PDG). On the group there are technical consultants certified with fundamentals of BI, SQL, Employee Central and MDF.

Note: If you are customer and no longer have a techincal consultant engaged, it will be required to engage professional services. It may take some initial troubleshooting from Product Support to notice it is a configuration change & may later inform you that you must engage PS.

Why can't these issues be handled by Product Support? 

Implementation related questions are not on the scope of Product Support as it is scoped to help on product defects and functional issues. The queries in relation to configuration are based on multiple modules, knowledge of BI & SQL.

Please see a few Examples of implementation questions that should be treated on the PDC or to engage Professional Services:

  • Need to create the basic cube (Template Implementation Guide and Welcome Read me First document)
  • Question related to standard templates or implementation packages (e.g. Starter or Advanced)
  • Question related to Data Questionnaire/Specification
  • Question/Issue related to Kep Mapping.
  • Query related to Calculated Columns
  • Initial Load or Incremental Load failures
  • Query on changing or creating dimensions/measures

For technical questions related to the implementation of WFA on HANA, please post your questions via the HCM Partner Delivery Group (PDG). The partner Jam was migrated to the group for a better experience. All pre & post implementation technical questions must be raised in the PDC before raising an incident with Cloud Support. If you are redirected to Support from the community, please ensure that you highlight the exact questions and answer (link from post) from the community in order to speed up our troubleshooting.
