Symptom
When forwarding a Candidate to the New Application status (Default status) of another Job Requisition, the status-triggered email is not sent to the Candidate and Recruiting Operators.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
1. Configure the status-triggered mail for New Application status (Default status) in Edit Applicant Status Configuration
2. Forward a Candidate from a Job Requisition to another and select "New Application" status
3. The status-triggered email is not sent to the Candidate and Recruiting Operators
Resolution
This is an expected behavior. In the following 2 scenarios, the status-triggered email of the New Application status (Default status) will not be sent:
- A Candidate is forwarded to the New Application status (Default status) status of another Job Requisition directly.
- On the same Job Requisition, a non-applicant Candidate is moved from the Forwarded status to the New Application status (Default status) status directly.
Note: If after adding the candidate to the job requisition this application is moved to another in-progress status the application status email will trigger as configured. The email is not sent only for the default status.
