2850427 - Error: Inventory exist for XXX (YYY) as Custodian Party or Owner Party

Unable to mark the status of account as obsolete. An error occurs. Error: Inventory exist for XXX (YYY) as Custodian Party or Owner Party (where XXX is the account ID and YYY is the account name).

SAP Business By Design

1. Go to Account Management work center
2. Click on Accounts view
3. Search for the account
4. Click on Change Status > Obsolete
5. Message: Inventory exist for XXX (YYY) as Custodian Party or Owner Party.

If there is an active inventory stock for any of the owner, then it is not allowed to set the status of the account to obsolete.

You need to make sure that no inventory exists. It might be that the inventory is externally owned.

If no inventory exists, please create an incident.
