2850551 - Updating Time Sheet Data Via Import Or Manage Data

Is it possible to update timesheet data via MDF UI (Manage Data) or via Import and export Data ->  Employee Time Sheet / Time Sheet Entry?

For example, you want to update time sheet entries / valuations / approval status.

• It is strictly not supported to upload/import time sheet data directly via MDF UI / Import and Export Data. 
  You can only import time data into time sheet via External Time Data. KBA 2677376 - How To Import Time Sheet Data?
• Actions on time sheet which are strictly not supported via manage data (which create data inconsistencies in downstream systems such as payroll):

1. Changes of approval status
2. Manual changes on entries or time valuation results

• To make changes to existing timesheets, please follow the steps from Time Sheet UI as documented in the handbook Using Time Management in SAP SuccessFactors ->  Section 'Amending Approved Time Sheets'.

1. Navigate to an approved time sheet and correct it.
2. Check your amendments in the Submit popup and choose Submit.
3. Choosing Submit changes the time sheet status to Amendment to be Approved and resends the time sheet to your manager for approval.
