Resolution
It is possible to report on candidates that have applied. You must select fields from the Application table, then apply a filter on ApplicationID and set it as Not Null. Then, it will only return information on candidates that have applied.
In case you don't apply the filter, and it returns cases where the applicationID is blank/null, this means that those candidates haven't applied.
