2850832 - Will a merged candidate see the Offer sent to the other candidate/applicant - Recruiting Management

• An external candidate was forwarded to a job requisition, and they went forward in the pipeline. But they were forwarded with the wrong e-mail address (a typo), and they already had a candidate profile in the system. If those two external candidates were merged, will they be able to see the offer in the external career site?
• An internal candidate applied to a job requisition using an external account. If they are merged, will they be able to see the offer in the Careers tab?

It is possible to a merged candidate to see an offer sent to a non-master candidate.

What happens for the External Candidate Profile case, is that it can be changed the primaryEmail field if the Email as Username configuration is enabled for your environment. That way, once both candidates are merged and the e-mail address linked to the application is changed (which can be achieved using Edit Candidate Profile Snapshot or API), the Offer will be available for the external candidate.

For Internal Candidate Profiles, if a candidate has applied with an external profile, but has an internal profile, once they are merged, the offer letter associated to the internal candidate will be available after a period of time. Sometimes it's required for candidates to log out and log back into the instance to see the My Offers tab in the Careers page. It's just important to set the internal profile as the master profile. Also, please, make sure that the email addresses for both the internal candidate and the application is the same email address. That way, it should show up in My Offers tab.
