2850866 - Country field in Competitor

 The Country field is marked as mandatory when creating a new Competitor.

SAP Cloud for Customers

1. Go to the Competitors work centre.
2. Go to the Competitors view.
3. Click the New button.
4. The Country field is marked as mandatory.

The Country Code is mandatory if a postal address data is maintained. This is the case if for example a City or Street is maintained, but also if the Country code is already maintained.

For business users the last entered Country Code is defaulted and hence the field is marked as mandatory.

Defaulting of Country Code is stored per user for business users.

The logic is that if a business user enters a Country Code and saves data, this is stored as default for that business user.

The affected Business User could delete the Country Code which is defaulting (and other maintained postal address fields if data was entered) and then the dynamic mandatory property for the Country Code is removed.
