You want to enable a system to download Digitally Signed Notes.

Case1: You have followed the strongly recommended guided method from SAP note

2836302 - Automated guided steps for enabling Note Assistant for TCI and Digitally Signed SAP Notes

Case2:  In case the release does not support the TCI feature:

  • Notes  2408073 (Enablement), 2546220 (Verification), 2508268 (Download), 2928592 (HTTP procedure in SAP_BASIS 700 to 731)  and 2869143 (Fixes) were implemented.
  • For Netweaver releases from 700 to 731: You performed the configuration steps as per Digital Signature.pdf from 2928592 
  • (Optional) You applied note 2554853 on the download system for enabling Download service
