2852249 - Employee Central: Employee Data Import threshold limit of 30k Records

• The Employee Data Import job now has a threshold limit of processing 30,000 records per import file. 
• This is a new enhancement added in the 1908 and 1911 release.
• 1908: Set Employee Data Import Limit to Maximum(250000) — requires “Employee Central V2 (i.e., Event Reason Derivation)”, “Enable Generic Objects”, “Effective Dated Data Platform”, “Employee Profile data audit” and “Enable the Attachment Manager”
• 1911: Set Employee Data Import Limit (Default Limit 30000) — requires “Employee Central V2 (i.e., Event Reason Derivation)”, “Enable Generic Objects”, “Effective Dated Data Platform”, “Employee Profile data audit” and “Enable the Attachment Manager”
  there are 4 options can be chosen: 10000/200000/300000/2500000, Default Limit is 30000.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Employee Data Imports

• If an import file has more than 30k records, it's recommended that the records are distributed in multiple import files.
• This enhancement will help to improve performance on the job server.

Please Note:

If the user wants to upload a file having more than 30 thousand records, they can disable the threshold limit using the 'Set employee data import limit to maximum' switch in Provisioning for 1908.

    

    Or in 1911 release, user can enable "Set Employee Data Import Limit (Default Limit 30000)", and set the different options based on customer needs.

    

Note: With 1911 changes, the maximum data import limit, if selected by any customer will be reset to 30000. If the customer wants to set the value to any other available number (10000, 20000 or 250000), then they have contact either their implementation partner or support as this can be done only in the backend Provisioning.
