2852833 - Authorization issue in Professional Projects SSCUIs

Symptom

You get error You are not authorized to use this function after clicking Configure button for the SSCUIs below:

  • 102641 - Define Work Items and Groups.
  • 101306 - Define Expenses.
  • 103299 - Map Resources to Resource Types.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Manage your Solution App.
  2. Click Configure your Solution.
  3. In the Application area filter select Professional Services, and click the Professional Services Item.
  4. Click Configure for any of the SSCUIs.

Cause

Business Catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_PSP_PRJ_PC should be part of the custom copied business role which is copied from role template SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT.

Resolution

Business Catalog SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_PSP_PRJ_PC is required to access the professional services related content.

Please assign this catalog to a role of this user (Business role which is a copy of SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT role template).
