2853271 - Digital Access License in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition from 3rd party legacy system

You are about to integrate client's SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition environment to an 3rd party legacy system.

As part of the integration, sales orders and deliveries will be created in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition from 3rd party legacy system and order confirmations will be sent from SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition to 3rd party legacy system.

You need know whether Digital Access Document License will be required to process the creation of documents in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and sending out data to legacy system as mentioned in the above example.

The Digital Access License Model is also relevant for S/4HANA CE and if the 3rd party system is creating one of below’s documents customers need to license those.

Only the creation from the outside is relevant, i.e. if S/4H HANA CE is sending out data (like order confirmations) this does not have to be considered.
