2853346 - Feed Is Not Working for E-mail and Phone Number Changes in Account


You have made changes to Account's XYZ (XYZ represents the Account ID) E-mail address and Phone Number, but those changes are not seen on the Feed tab of the Account.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Select the Accounts view.
  3. Open Account XYZ.
  4. Click on Edit and make changes to the E-mail Address and Phone Number of the Account.
  5. Save.
  6. Go to the Feed tab.
  7. The changes are not seen there.


On the Feed Settings, when you select the Event Address Change for Accounts, system considers all Address fields, this means all fields that are shown when you click to edit address on the account.

They might vary depending on the Account's country, as different laws apply, but usually are:

  • Country;
  • Street;
  • House Number;
  • City;
  • State;
  • Postal Code;
  • District;
  • P.O. Box.


Currently, there are no Feed events for change on the Account Phone Number or E-mail Address, this would be a new requirement.
