2853406 - AIAB cannot settle line items of statistical areas

In transaction AIAB it is not possible to settle line items which are only posted in a statistical area.

 The AuC (asset under construction) has for e.g. only 2 depreciation areas as follows:

• Area 01  
• Area 10, which is only statistical in FI-AA

Acquisition postings on the AuC:

• First acquisition was posted in area 01 only
• Second acquisition was posted only in area 10

Using then transaction AIAB you can only select the line items of the first acquisition, for which you can define settlements rule and settle this line item to the final asset.

For the second acusition in area 10 only,  you try to assign a settlement rule by using the buttom “Show/hide Areas” in AIAB. But, for the line item from area 10 the assignment of the settlement rule is not possible since this buttom is greyed out.

In transaction AIAB it is only possible to settle line items of the first acquisition. It is not possible to settle the line item of second acquisition.
