Symptom

What is the difference between Status and Requisition Status fields in adhoc reports?

KBA1.png

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
  • SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics

Resolution

The difference between the two is:

Status refers to the status they configure in picklist field of the job requisition, the one that has several values and is a reference to the Recruiting users.

Requisition Status, on the other hand, is a system status and is a reference to the system to understand if it's pre-approved (still in the route map), approved (already opened and ready to receive candidates' applications) or closed. This can be understood by a "internal" status for the requisition.

Finally, the "Status" field has several values in the dropdown, as those can be configured through picklists, while the "Requisition Status" values are not configurable and are a reference to the system.
