• How to inactivate a MDF Picklist?

1. Admin Center > Picklist Center > In Picklist Search select the picklist you would like to disable;
2. Click on version of the picklist you want to modify > Click Deactivate button as shown below

• How to inactivate picklist values (external code) in a MDF Picklist?

1. Admin Center > Picklist Center > In Picklist Search select the picklist you would like to disable;
2. Click on version of the picklist you want to modify > You will be directed to Picklist page showing its picklist values for the version selected.
3. You can deactivate picklist values in two ways:
   a. You can select a single picklist value by clicking on it. It will open another page showing the picklist value. > On field 'Status', select InActive then Save

b. Check the box corresponding to picklist values you want to deactivate (you can select one or multiple picklist values) > Click deactivate button as shown below.

What will be the behavior if a MDF Picklist be inactivated?

If you inactivate only MDF Picklist, the values will remain active and, however picklist values will not be available for selection the Objects that they are assigned.

What if the MDF Picklist values (external code) are inactivated? 

If you inactivate a MDF Picklist and the values, only the active picklist values will be usable on the Objects to which the picklist are assigned. Inactive picklist values will not be visible.
