2853666 - Display Allocation function (KB16N) is not available in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

In App Enter Manual Cost Allocations, after clicking Menu - More - Posting - Display, you get error "You are not authorized to use transaction KB16N".

Cause

Display Allocation function (KB16N) is not available in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Resolution

You can use App Display Line Items - Cost Accounting to display the postings for allocations.

It is possible to use App Enter Manual Cost Allocation (KB15N) to do manual postings. Unfortunately it is not possible to do reversals or to display - we have deprecated these transactions.

In a future release we plan to have a modernized UI for manual postings which should also include reversals.

For the time being, please use the Enter Manual Cost Allocation App to do a manual posting of the opposite accounts/values.
