2854076 - Field Mapping tool overwriting existing mappings - Onboarding 1.0

When a filter is applied to the list of fields in Field Mapping Tool for integration with Employee Central to find a single field (e.g., EmployeeId), and then save a change before the rest of the page (not displayed on screen) loads, the unloaded mappings are overwritten.

This caused that the mappings of the majority of their fields mappings were missing/overwriten.

This is a known error that presently appears if a user tries to interact or modify or filter on the ONB-ECT mapping page PRIOR to the page being fully loaded. As a result, the mappings are being removed/blanked out as the page tries to accommodate the user action by interrupting the page load time.

There is already an enhancement intended to correct this (there is no ETA, though).

As a workaround: the customer can keep an XML export from Provisioning of their current mapping, or alternatively maintain this in a Preview environment for them to easily refer to/replace.
