2854413 - Unauthorized (401) web service error - Recruiting Posting

Symptom

When I try to post a job in my ATS integrated with Recruiting Posting, I'm getting "Unauthorized (401)" web service error.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Posting

               Integration type: web service integration

Reproducing the Issue

  1. I connect to my ATS and select the job I want to post with Recruiting Posting
  2. When communicating with Recruiting Posting system, the web service returns "Unauthorized (401)" error

Cause

Unauthorized (401) error message is usually related to invalid web service credentials.

Resolution

You'll need to double check the web service credentials set up for the account you are posting with in your ATS, as they need to match web service credentials generated for your account in Recruiting Posting (see SAP Knowledge Based Article 2846729).
