  • The Activity Byte Code Adapter Installation fails. When checking the Details, the error message is: Failed to persist setup information.

  • To find further details, it's necessary to check the ISAgent Admin page:
    1. http(s)://<solman_host>:<java_port>/smd/ISAdmin
    2. Select the affect system
    3. Select the affect host on the table
    4. On the bottom of the screen, it's possible to see this error:

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /usr/sap/<SID>/J<instance_number>/ByteCodeAdapter/ISAgentSetup.properties_562324650 (Permission denied)
