2855739 - How to add branding when sending a manual email using Message Center - Recruiting Management

Symptom

How to add branding when sending a manual email to a candidate from Candidate Profile or Application Profile when Message Center is enabled?

Environment

 SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM)

Reproducing the Issue

By default, Message Center does not allow the recruiter to add any branding.

When a recruiter sends an email with branding information and wants to retain it while replying to a candidate from Message Center, then the recruiter has to select Include Brand Template checkbox.

If a recruiter does not select Include Brand Template checkbox, then the email contains just the text of the reply.

Note: the Include Brand Template checkbox is visible only if the original email has branding information.

Please note there is a known issue regarding this functionality. When you manually send an email from the system, the email received by the candidate does not contain any template layout (branding), even though the email is well formatted when clicking on Preview before sending.

When the user replies from then on via Message Center you can include the branding and it works as expected.

Our Engineering team is aware of this issue. They have come up with a fix which is due to be put in place in the b1911 release.
