2856658 - Search Functionality in Outlook Add-In Does Not Work with External ID Reference

Symptom

You have implemented the integration between SAP Cloud for Customer and SAP ERP. However, when performing the search for Sales Quotes and Sales Orders using the External ID reference these documents are not shown inside Outlook Add-In.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer - Outlook Add-In (Client Side)

Cause

The search functionality of Sales Orders and Sales Quotes inside Outlook Add-in cannot use the External ID reference number. So, when performing the search with this number no results will be found.

Resolution

The search of Sales Orders and Sales Quotes inside Outlook Add-in should be performed using the ID number.
