Symptom

  • An "infected with signal 11" error in LeLOBCache::LeLOBCacheInsert() with a stack trace is raised in the ASE server:

Current process (0x195b061a) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Address 0x0x0000000000935812 (LeLOBCache::LeLOBCacheInsert(constant*, constant*, int)+0x6e6), siginfo (code, address) = (1, 0x(nil))

  • The process was running procedure sp_showplan (for example: sp_showplan xxxx,null,null,null).
  • The stack trace includes functions:

LeLOBCache::LeLOBCacheInsert
LeRun
LeEvals::LeEvRun
LeScalarOp::_LeOpNext
LeEmitNoSndOp::_LeOpNext
LePlanNext
exec_lava
