2856844 - Error: “Items-Percentage is not a valid value” While Migrating Discount Lists

Your requirement is to migrate the Discount Lists with Items percentage less than 1. During simulation, system throws the below error:

'Items-Percentage': 'XYZ' is not a valid value; edit source value

where XYZ represents percentage value less than one, example: 0.01, 0.005, 0.209

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview
3. Search and Open the activity Migration of Discount Lists
4. Choose Migrate discount lists using the migration tool
5. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File
6. You receive the error message mentioned during the Simulation step

Due to framework restrictions, migration tool does not accept percentage values less than 1. The migration tool can be used for Items with price greater than 1.

As a workaround, you may use the Excel approach to upload Discounts with Items percentage less than 1. That is, for the Items with price less than 0, the Excel upload is the only way to address your business case.

1. Go to Product and Service Portfolio work center
2. Go to Pricing view
3. Go to Discount Lists sub-view
4. Choose the required type of Discount List from the drop-down menu
5. Select the Download button
6. In the Microsoft Excel, go to the tab SAP Business ByDesign
7. Select Logon
8. A dialog box opens where you can enter the logon details
9. Provide the system URL, user ID, password and click Logon
10. In the ribbon, select Save Data to
11. Discount Lists are successfully uploaded in your system
