2857586 - Installation of the Adobe LiveCycle Designer Fails

Symptom

During the installation of the Adobe LiveCycle Designer you are asked to install MS C++ 2005 and you are getting an error, for example "Page cannot be displayed".

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Cause

The link of the installer package is obsolete (Microsoft does not support C++ 2005 anymore).

Resolution

Cancel the installation and install this Service package:

After that please run the Adobe LiveCycle Designer installation again and remove the tick from the additional installation of MS C++ 2005.

Finish the installation.
