2858208 - No Posting Date For End Users in Expense Report

As an end user, when creating a New Expense Report, you notice that the Posting Date is not available.

1. Go to the Home Work Center.
2. Select Self-Services Overview.
3. Click on New Expense Report.

Result: Posting date is not available.

The described behaviour in the Symptom section is exactly what it should be. This is the expected system behaviour. We assume that the normal end user would be confused when he has to deal with financial elements such as Posting Date. Therefore, he cannot enter this date. On the other hand we expect an Admin being aware of Posting Periods, so he is able to enter the Posting Date.

As explained in the Cause section, end users do not have access to the Posting Date on Expense Report. This is available for Administrators.
